Former Robert Morris women’s ice hockey forward Michaela Boyle has signed a professional contract with the Buffalo Beauts out of Amherst, New York.

Boyle began her collegiate career at Clarkson University, where she was part of the 2017-18 NCAA championship team.

Boyle transferred to Robert Morris University before the 2019-20 season, making an immediate impact. She had 22 goals and seven assists in 36 games for the Colonials that season, which led the team.

Those 22 goals also put her eighth on the NCAA leaderboards in goals for that season.

During the 2020-21 season, Boyle played 25 games for the Colonials, scoring 10 goals and tallying 12 assists.

After RMU cut their men’s and women’s hockey programs, Boyle used her final year of eligibility to play for Boston College during the 2021-2022 year.

Boyle will look to parlay her collegiate success and experience into a successful run in professional hockey, starting with Buffalo.
