After posting a 4-6 overall record and a 3-4 record in Big South action, Robert Morris was in Charlotte, NC, for the annual Big South Media Day. While they were in town, five players were named to Big South preseason teams.

Grad student running back Alijah Jackson was named to the Big South First Team after collecting 907 all-purpose yards last year and four touchdowns, with his best outing being against Cambell to end the year.

Joining him on the First Team Junior were teammates Hayden Baron, redshirt junior Ricardo Waston, who helped with two sacks and eight tackles last year, and redshirt junior Sydney Audiger, who was able to snag an interception last year. Redshirt junior Jamar Shegog was an honorable mention and had 18 tackles.

RMU was picked to finish sixth in the conference in the preseason poll. The favorite this year was North Carolina A&T. RMU will get their shot at the Bulldogs on Oct. 22.

RMU will take the field on Sept. 3 as they take on Dayton. In his fourth year, head coach Bernard Clark looks to take them over .500 in 2022.
