Robert Morris standout wide receiver James Westry will enter the transfer portal after two years with the program, he announced on his Twitter.

The redshirt sophomore had 43 receptions for 581 yards as a Colonial, and was second in receptions (35) and first in receiving yards (460 this past fall for the Robert Morris.

His best game as a Colonial came at North Alabama on October 16, where he had 8 receptions for 103 yards, the first of two games over the century mark for Robert Morris this season.

After D’Andre Hicks’ departure, Westry was expected to be the number one target for Bernard Clark and RMU, but after the announcement Wednesday, the team has a big hole to fill for this upcoming fall.
