The ASUN Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll was released on Wednesday and Robert Morris has grabbed the number three spot on the list with three first-place votes. The top two places were awarded to Utah and Jacksonville.

The honor comes after the Colonials finished last season with an overall record of 10-6 (4-1 in conference). Their only loss in the ASUN conference came against Utah when they lost by a final score of 18-8.

Last season, Robert Morris outscored their opponents 207-202, and qualified for the NCAA Tournament losing to Delaware in the first round.

The top goal scorers for RMU last season were senior Taggart Clark with 48 goals and graduate student Corson Kealey with 43.

The Colonials look to gear up for their season with an exhibition matchup against Ohio State University on Jan. 28.
