On Tuesday afternoon, head coach Andy Toole and his staff received the final commitment of their 2022 recruiting class as former Davidson forward Chris Ford committed to the program.

Ford, a Huntersville, North Carolina native spent one season with the Wildcats as he appeared in eight games averaging 1.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.

This is not the first time Ford and Robert Morris have been in touch, as he received an offer in 2020 before he decided to go to Davidson.

The 6-5 forward posted a career-high 10 points and 11 rebounds against JWU (Charlotte) on December 22 and played a career-high 16 minutes in the contest.

His only other points on the season came against Fordham on March 11 as he appeared briefly in the first round of the Atlantic 10 men’s basketball tournament.

With the recruiting class filled, Andy Toole and his staff turn to summer workouts as the team looks onto their third season in the Horizon League after picking up their first conference tournament win as the no. 10 seed in the conference tournament last season.
