After entering the transfer portal on March 24, former Robert Morris forward Ashya Klopfenstein announced that she has committed to Utah State to play for the Aggies.

Klopfenstein, a transfer from Dawson CC (JuCo), averaged 8.1 points and five rebounds per game in Moon Township before her season was cut short due to an injury.

The Colonials now look to fill the void at the forward position in 2022-23 as both Natalie Villaflor and Klopfenstein have departed the program, with Villaflor heading to Mount St. Mary’s as a grad transfer.

Utah State bolsters the forward position with the addition of Klopfenstein after finishing 11-19 overall and 5-13 in Mountain West play.
