With the Robert Morris roster starting to take shape, the Colonials have gotten another commitment in former Iona forward Trey James.

James, an Inez, Kentucky native spent his first two seasons at Iona College under Rick Pitino.

In limited action, James averaged 1.1 points in 13 games over 52 minutes of game time with the Gaels.

He expressed his excitement to Colonial Sports Network about joining the program and looks forward to the future.

“I am looking forward to playing for Coach Toole and being a part of the RMU basketball program,” James said. “I hope to add an inside presence to a team that has great pieces already in place.”

James joins Salt Lake City Community College JuCo transfer Jackson Last as the only member from the transfer portal to commit to the team this season.
