The Moon Tigers (2-4, 1-3) will travel to Peters Township this Friday to take on the Peters Township Indians (4-2, 3-1). Both teams are coming off losses and are looking to start a new winning streak.

Last Friday, the Indians faced off against the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (2-3, 1-3) in a non-conference battle. The Indians lost 35-26.

Some Indians to look out for are Josh Casilli and Ryan Magiske. Casilli is the go-to wide receiver for the Indians offense. He has over 300 receiving yards along with 30 rushing yards. Casilli has great speed and can dominate a game if not put in check. Magiske is the premier running back in the offense and has proven to be a key factor in most games. Magiske has over 300 rushing yards on the season and also has 8 touchdowns.

Last Friday, The Tigers battled the Bethel Park Blackhawks (3-2, 2-1) in a conference match-up. The Tigers ended up losing badly after being tied at halftime. The final score was 38-14.

Some Tigers to look out for are Jamal Littlejohn and Brendan Luffey. Last week, Littlejohn had a rushing touchdown and a pick-six, which ended up being the Tigers’ only points on the day. Luffey is a defensive end and offensive tackle for the Tigers. Luffey has multiple sacks on the year and always harasses opposing quarterbacks. His light-weightedness and hands provide many opportunities for passing situations.

This game could very well decide Moon’s fate for the playoff race. Expect Moon to come out swinging and play until the last whistle.
