The Robert Morris volleyball team hits the road this weekend, traveling to Fairfax, Va., to participate in the Mason Invite.

Robert Morris faces the host George Mason in their first matchup on Friday. Both teams will be looking to establish an early lead in the all-time series, as this is the first time in history these two teams will face one another.

Robert Morris then played two matches on Saturday against Radford and Brown.

The Colonials do not have much history with the Highlanders and Bears either. Historically, They have played just four matchups between the two teams.

Robert Morris holds a minimal edge over Radford in the all-time series, leading just 2-1. These two teams last matched up in 2015, in which Radford won.

Robert Morris split their two matches last week in the Chick-fil-A Robinson Classic, defeating Canisius 3-1. They fell to Duquesne in the following matchup, also 3-1.

Abby Ryan and Emma Brown performed impressive last weekend, earning them a spot on the All-Tournament team.

Abby Ryan was a force for the Colonials offense, collecting 39 kills. 24 of which came against Duquesne, setting a new career high for Ryan.

Emma Bown was all over for Robert Morris. She totaled 19 kills, four blocks, and two digs.

Robert Morris takes on George Mason at 7 p.m. on Friday. Then, on Saturday, they face Radford at 11 a.m. and Brown at 6 p.m.
