Chase Gilley named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week

Having joined the Colonials’ roster just this year, Chase Gilley is already making himself known and proving he is a strong asset to the team.
Gilley was one of two players to earn Horizon League Player of the Week. He is also the first Colonial to make the title this year.

In the Horizon League home opener on Saturday against Northern Kentucky, where the Colonials defeated the Norse 2-1, Gilley had assists on both goals, along with two shots on goal, which helped guide Robert Morris to their first win in the 2022 fall campaign.
In Cincinnati, though RMU fell to Xavier 3-0, Gilley could still get a shot on net. Only two other Colonials were able to register shots in that game.
The Colonials will travel to Milwaukee this Saturday, Sept. 17, in their second Horizon League matchup, where they hope to secure their second win of the season against the Panthers.
