Tavin Harville signs as undrafted free agent with Pittsburgh Steelers, invited to minicamp

While none of Robert Morris’ draft-eligible players were selected in this year’s draft, one player has inked a deal as an undrafted free agent as defensive back Tavin Harville has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers with an invite to minicamp.

In his senior season at Robert Morris, Harville recorded 30 total tackles and two interceptions for 12 yards, also breaking up four passes.
Harville appeared in the Tropical Bowl before declaring for the draft this season.
In his four seasons at Robert Morris after transferring in from Eastern Michigan, Harville recorded 80 total tackles, five interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Harville will look to become the first Robert Morris alum to play in the NFL since Hank Fraley played in his last game in 2010.
Entering minicamp, Harville will battle for a spot in the Steelers’ secondary.
