Just two weeks after Robert Morris’ season came to an end in the Horizon League quarterfinals against Cleveland State, the Colonials have their first departure of the offseason as forward/center Brandon Stone has entered the transfer portal.

Stone, a 6’11 center from Alverton, Pennsylvania, spent one season with the Robert Morris program after transferring from La Salle in December of 2021.

He appeared in 23 games in the red, white and blue, averaging 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He did not start in any contest this season.

Stone was efficient from the field while in action for Robert Morris, as he shot 50 percent overall and 44 percent from beyond the arc, going 13-for-29 in three-point attempts.

He scored a season-high 17 against Oakland on February 11.

Stone will have two more years of eligibility remaining but will have to apply for a transfer waiver to become immediately eligible due to NCAA transfer rules.
