Robert Morris softball’s three-game series against the Green Bay Phoenix scheduled for March 15-16 has been postponed due to the field conditions at the RMU’s North Athletic Complex.

The Colonials were first slated to take on the Phoenix on March 11-12, but due to the impending snowstorm that hit the western Pennsylvania area over the weekend, the series was postponed to this Tuesday and Wednesday before getting pushed back yet again.

RMU was set to return home after their west coast swing where they posted a 2-6 record in Washington and Oregon, picking up wins against Portland State and Seattle.

The postponement pushes back their home opener until March 22 when they take on Akron.

Green Bay will now come to face the Colonials on Monday, April 4 in a doubleheader with the first pitch time still to be determined.

Robert Morris is set to open up Horizon League play on the road in Detroit on March 18-19 when they take on Detroit Mercy. The Colonials currently sit at 11-7 overall to begin the season.
