Robert Morris is off to their best start in program history, posting a 9-1 overall record. The team keeps bringing in the hardware as, after a 5-0 weekend at the Winthrop Invitational, Charlotte Grover was named Horizon League Softball Player of the Week.

Over the weekend, Grover went 5-for-14 (.357) with four runs and scored a home run and two RBIs.

The 2021 Horizon League All-Freshman Team member is hitting .267 on the young season with six runs, scoring a double, a home run and five RBIs.

Grover smoked a clutch home run to tie the game at 1 against Winthrop in the top of the seventh on Saturday.

The Colonials are currently riding an eight-game winning streak and will make the trip out to the Pacific Northwest for eight games to wrap up their 18-game road trip to start the season. They will faceoff against Portland State in a doubleheader on March 4.

Robert Morris will open up their home slate on March 10 when they take on Green Bay. This will also be the Horizon League opener for both squads and the first time Green Bay comes to town.
