Women’s Lacrosse announces 2022 schedule

The Robert Morris women’s lacrosse team announced their 2022 schedule and path to defend their Mid-American Conference title and return to the NCAA tournament today.

Last season, the Colonials finished their 2021 regular season with a record of 14-2 and a perfect 10-0 in their first season of MAC play.

The Colonials’ new year begins with a pair of non-conference games. They start on the road against The Ohio State Buckeyes (2/12) and then a week later return home to take on Canisius for their home opener (2/19).

The Colonials start March with a conference game facing Kent State (3/2). The Colonials then welcome their first conference opponent of the season, Detroit Mercy (2/23).

The Colonials will take a trip to Bucknell (2/26) three days later. They go take on the Liberty Flames (3/5), who the Colonials defeated in a close game last year by a score of 9-8.

RMU then have a pair of conference games against Akron (3/9) and Central Michigan (3/16) before they go take on UMBC (3/19) in Maryland.

The Colonials then return to the road for a midweek matchup against Youngstown (3/23).

Robert Morris wraps up the month of March as they host the Cincinnati Bearcats (3/27) in their final non-conference game of the season a team they lost to last season.

Finally, the Colonials wrap their season up with one game against their divisional foes. At Detroit Mercy (4/2), Kent State (4/9), Akron (4/16), Central Michigan (4/23), and Youngstown State (4/30).
