On Friday, the Horizon League announced its yearly postseason awards and men’s soccer freshman Noe Bijou was named to the All-Freshman Team for this season.

This comes just after goalkeeper Grant Glorioso was named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week.

The young defender from Nancy, France made 13 appearances for Robert Morris University, getting the starting nod in 12 of those games.

Bijou didn’t light up the stat sheet as he only recorded two shots on the season, however, Bijou was an anchor for the defensive core, recording an astonishing 1,011 minutes in his 13 appearances with the club.

His 1,011 minutes rank fifth for the most minutes played amongst qualifying players in the Horizon League and third amongst all qualifying freshmen in the conference.

Men’s soccer will look to continue their impressive season in the postseason against Milwaukee this Sunday.
