The RMU men’s golf team is ready to hit the links for the fall season, having released their five-tournament schedule on Tuesday.

The Colonials, led by 21st-year head coach Jerry Stone, start the season in West Virginia as they head to Gayan Golf & Country Club in Huntington for the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational. This event is hosted by the Marshall Thundering Herd and will take place on September 13-14.

Following that, the Colonials start a busy October at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational on October 4-5 at Lakewood Country Club. This will mark the Colonials’ 13th trip to a Cleveland State-hosted event in 14 years.

Robert Morris heads home to the Keystone State the following weekend for the three-day Bucknell Invitational, held at Bucknell University Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Back in 2015, the Colonials won the tournament, finishing +14.

To wrap up the month, the team heads to Maryland for the Towson Fall Invitational on October 23-24. In 2019, Max Palmer won the tournament, shooting a 68 (-4) at Prospect Bay Golf Club in Grasonville.

For the last tournament of the fall season, RMU travels to the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by Wagner. The tournament, held through November 1-2, was won by the Colonials in their last trip in 2014-15.

Bobby Mo returns 11 student-athletes, including Chase Miller, who leads all returning golfers with three top-10 finishes last season.

Last season also marked the Colonials’ first season of Horizon League play, in which the Colonials finished fifth.
