Former RMU women’s basketball guard Dahomée Forgues announced on Tuesday that she will be transferring to Fairleigh Dickinson via Instagram.

The sophomore from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec averaged 4.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game this season. Forgues only appeared in eight games this season, starting in three of them. She averaged 5.0 points per game during her time at RMU. Forgues’ best performance of the season came against Oakland on February 5th, where she recorded a season-high 12 points and five assists.

With her transfer to Fairleigh Dickinson, Forgues will be headed back to the NEC where she will join former teammate Isabella Posset who transferred to St. Francis in January.

Last season, Fairleigh Dickinson finished with an overall record of 16-8 and 12-6 in NEC. Robert Morris, of course, moved out of the division and into the Horizon League finishing with a 4-13 record. Six former women’s basketball players have transferred since the end of last season.
