An offseason of uncertainty and roster turnover continues as men’s basketball has lost their third player in the last month and second this week to the transfer portal, and this time, it is guard Terrell Brown entering his name into the portal, per the Verbal Commits transfer list.
He joins forward AJ Bramah and guard Cameron Wilbon as Colonials to enter the transfer portal since February, with Bramah announcing his intent to transfer during the season and Wilbon announcing his intent to transfer yesterday.
Brown, a sophomore, joined the team as a preferred walk-on out of Proctor Academy in Lowell, Massachusetts before the 2019-20 season and played sparingly in his two seasons as a Colonial, seeing action in seven games last season and three this season.
His best stat line came on February 20, 2020 at Saint Francis, where he picked up two rebounds and an assist.
This season, he played at Purdue Fort Wayne on December 26, Milwaukee on January 1, and at UIC on January 15. He did not appear for the remainder of the season as the team played to a 4-15 record and lost its opening-round matchup in the Horizon League postseason to Detroit Mercy.
