As the college basketball offseason rolls on, some early season matchups are starting to be finalized for the 2023-24 season.

For the Robert Morris men’s basketball team, it was announced that their 2023-24 season opener would be against the Xavier Musketeers at the Cintas Center on Nov. 6.

This is the first game on the schedule for the Colonials, who want to build off of a 16-17 overall record from last season and a quarterfinal appearance in the Horizon League Tournament.

These teams will meet for the third and first time since 2012 when the Musketeers won 61-59. Xavier holds a 2-0 overall record against the Colonials.

The Colonials will enter their fourth season in the Horizon League with some uncertainties after losing three of their top four scorers from last season. Junior guard Josh Corbin and sophomore forward Stephaun Walker return looking to build off good seasons as newcomer from LSU Justice Williams will set to debut in a Colonial uniform.
