As expected, the Robert Morris men’s hockey team is making a push in the transfer portal and late Monday, the Colonials landed their second player of the day as Dallas Tulik announced his commitment to the program.

The 6-foot forward spent four years with the Ferris State Bulldogs and will join RMU as a graduate senior.

In limited action this past season, Tulik appeared in 19 games for Ferris State where he registered three goals and three assists as the Bulldogs finished sixth in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).

The Kalamazoo, Mich. native had a solid campaign during his junior season as he potted seven goals, along with 12 assists, tied for second on the team. His 19 points were also tied for the second highest on the Bulldogs in 2021-22.

During his first two seasons with the Bulldogs, Tulik was a depth player. He once again saw decreased playing time during his sophomore season seeing just 13 games where he totaled three points. When he first arrived at Ferris State, Tulik dressed in 25 games as a freshman where he registered four goals and three assists.

Tulik was the second player on Monday to announce their intent to transfer to Robert Morris as he joins goaltender Chad Veltri, who will join the Colonials from Atlantic Hockey for Niagara.

Robert Morris continues to fill certain voids on its roster, but the Colonials are starting to round out their forward depth as they now have 13 players signed or committed on offense for the 2023-24 team.
