Robert Morris placed sixth in Horizon League outdoor Track & Field preseason poll

The Horizon League announced Tuesday the preseason poll for the 2022 Outdoor Track and Field season. The Colonials were placed sixth of 11 teams with 60 points.

Youngstown State is the favorite, with eight first-place votes and 107 points.

Last year at the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, RMU finished fifth with 57.5 points in head coach Bryan Delsite’s first season.

Fifth-year graduate students Keturah Hunter and Estelle Katende claimed individual crowns last year, with Hunter winning the hammer throw and Katende winning the discus.

RMU opens its outdoor season with a pair of competitions. The Colonials will send student-athletes to both the Raleigh Relays on March 25 and 26 and the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on March 26.
