Dante Treacy commits to Radford

After entering the transfer portal on March 25, Dante Treacy has committed to Radford University, per his social media.
Treacy had reportedly heard from Bryant, Northern Arizona, Bowling Green, North Florida and Elon in addition to Radford and made his commitment today.
Treacy brings smooth playmaking and facilitating skills to Radford. After his breakout season as a sophomore in 2019-20, averaging 8.7 points per game and 4.5 assists per game and winning Northeast Conference Tournament MVP, Treacy passed more frequently this season, averaging 6.6 points and 4.8 assists in the Colonials’ inaugural season in the Horizon League as the team went 4-15 overall and 3-12 in-conference.
Treacy travels from Moon Township to Virginia and joins the Big South. Last season, Radford went 15-12 overall and 12-6 in-conference, falling to Campbell in the second round of the Big South Tournament. Gaining Treacy is a big step for the Highlanders in their quest to win the Big South title.
