WBB: Colonials top Fairleigh Dickinson 67-58 on the road

The Robert Morris women’s basketball team edged Fairleigh Dickinson Monday night 67-58 at Stratis Arena in Hackensack, NJ. The win improved their record to 11-8 and 7-1 in the Northeast Conference, securing their first place mark within the league.

The Knights fell to 1-18 and 0-8 in the NEC with the loss.

Senior forward Artemis Spanou led the way with 12 points and a career high 23 rebounds, while redshirt junior forward Jolie Olingende recorded her first career double-double, contributing 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Freshman guard Anna Niki Stamolamprou added 12 points while senior forward Kelly Hartwell chipped in 10 points off the bench.

The Colonials continue a four-game road trip Saturday, February 1st when they take on Mount St. Mary’s. Tip off is set for 5PM.
