Robert Morris Adds Trio of St. Lawrence Transfers

With the highly anticipated women’s hockey opener against Saint Anslem on Oct. 7, head coach Logan Bittle is making his final touches to the roster that will take the ice on that historic night.

That includes a trio of players from St. Lawrence University.

It was announced forward Shailynn Snow, defensemen Chloé Puddifant and forward Morgan Giannone will be joining the Colonials from the Saints.

Snow will be joining Robert Morris as a graduate senior. She played four years at St. Lawrence, scoring seven goals, 19 assists and a career-high 26 points in 2022-23. She ended the year with her best stretch of her career. She had four goals and six assists in the last six games of the 2022-23 season, with four goals in three games and and an assist in each game.

Puddifant will also be coming in as a graduate senior and playing for her third different school. She had three goals and three assists for six points in 29 games in her freshman season at Dartmouth before transferring to St. Lawrence. At St. Lawrence she improved her scoring each year with three goals 33 assists and 36 points in three years as a Saint.

Giannone finished her first year of collegiate hockey in 2022-23. She had minimal playing time registering only one goal in a Nov. 23 against Mercyhurst. She will add to already a young group of Colonials as the program rebuilds.

Coach Bittle has finalized his roster for the upcoming season starting a rebuild of a program that was on a two-year hiatus.
