Kahliel Spear Receives National College Skills, 3×3 Invite

Late Monday night, it was announced that Robert Morris forward Kahliel Spear would participate in the 2023 State Farm National College Team Skills and 3x3U Championships.

The State Farm College Team Skills & 3X3U Championships is a dynamic roster featuring graduating college seniors competing in a variety of competitions including team shootouts, a skills relay and 3×3 basketball.

The event will take place at the Bayou Music Center in Houston on March 29.

Spear’s 3×3 team will feature South Alabama’s Isaiah Moore, Bre’Amber Scott of the Texas Tech’s women’s team and Keishana Washington from the Drexel women’s team.

The Colony, Texas native used his fifth and final year of eligibility this past season, surpassing many Colonial program records and becoming the 14th player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark and 500 career rebounds mark.

Spear averaged 15.5 points a game, 8.3 rebounds a game, and shot the ball over a 50% clip.

The Team Skills & 3X3U Championships will be broadcast on ESPNU on April 2 at 9 p.m.
