Robert Morris struggles in overtime loss vs. Bryant

The Robert Morris University Colonials (2-8) were handed the loss by the Bryant University Bulldogs (7-1-2) by a 2-1 final score in overtime.
The game started by Bryant scoring first at 1:53 into the first half, making it 1-0.
The Bulldogs had the offensive advantage early in the first half, as they had crisp passes and were able to keep the ball away from Robert Morris.
Ever since Bryant scored the first goal early on, the Colonials and Bulldogs played even offense and defense through most of the remaining part of the first half.
By the end of the first half, Robert Morris managed to remain scoreless, with Bryant leading 1-0.
The second half of the game started slowly as both teams went back and forth trying to score at least 12 minutes in the second half.
The scoring then picked up by the Colonials as they tied the game 1-1 at 57:58 unassisted into the second half by sophomore midfielder Kristina Kelley.
Robert Morris continued to go back and forth with their scoring attempts with the Bulldogs through the second half until the end of the game, with the score remaining 1-1.
Both teams failed to secure the winning goal in the first overtime period with the score still tied 1-1.
The second overtime period started with both teams failing to kick the winning goal, but with 7:59 in the second overtime period, the Bryant University Bulldogs won the game 2-1.
The Colonials play their next matchup at home with Sacred Heart University at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the North Athletic Complex.
