Izyk earns AHA Goaltender of the Week honors
Goalie Dalton Izyk made 45 saves in net Friday but it wasn’t enough as RIT skated off with the 6-3 win.

Robert Morris men’s hockey sophomore goalie Dalton Izyk has been selected as Atlantic Hockey’s Travel Team USA Goaltender of the Week.
Izyk shutout Lake Superior State Saturday night and stopped 28 shots as the Colonials won 3-0. His career save percentage is now .923 after the win.
“It was good to get out there and face some shots,” Izyk said via the RMU Athletic Department. “Everyone held together…helping me out and giving (LSSU) nothing. It’s nice to get some momentum and carry that on.”
The Colonials will start off AHA play this Friday at the 84 Lumber Arena against Niagara. Puck drops at 7:05.
