Robert Morris women’s hockey is rounding out its team for the upcoming season. Madison Primeau will join the team this season as a transfer from Syracuse.

During her two years playing for the Orange, she has scored 21 goals and 11 assists as well as having 78 penalty minutes.

This season, Primeau is coming off a season-high of goals in a game, scoring her first career hat trick against Lindenwood on Nov. 4, 2022.

She added a couple more accolades to her resume coming off a season-high by having 3 assists in a game against Post University on Nov. 26, 2022.

Prior to playing for the Orange, Primeau played for the Mississauga Hurricanes during her high school career as well as being a Hockey Canada U18 invite.

Primeau comes from a hockey family as both her dad and her uncle, Keith, played in the NHL, while also having a brother, Mason, who has played for the AHL’s Henderson SIlver Knights and ECHL’s Savannah Ghost Pirates this season.

Her father is Wayne Primeau, a 19-year veteran drafted 17th overall in the 1994 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. He also had a stint with the Pittsburgh Penguins from 2000-2003.

The Colonials roster is taking shape for the fall as the team almost has a full roster.
