After four seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations at Robert Morris, Jimmy Langhurst has been named an assistant coach at Stonehill College.

Over Langhurst’s four seasons on the Colonial staff, the team appeared in the College Insider Tournament in 2019, defeating Cornell in the opening round. The following season earned an automatic bid to the 2020 NCAA Tournament after defeating Saint Francis in the NEC Championship.

Before joining the Colonials staff, he spent time with the Indiana University of Pennsylvania as an assistant during the 2014-15 season. He helped the Crimson Hawks earn an at-large bid in the NCAA Division II Tournament and made it to the National Championship Game that season. He also spent three seasons at Le Moyne College from 2015-18.

Before jumpstarting his coaching career, Langhurst spent four seasons as a player with Robert Morris playing on some of the most dominant teams in program history. In his four seasons with the program as a player, Langhurst appeared in 90 games and finished his career with 781 points shooting 41 percent from the field and 84 percent from beyond the arc. He ranks seventh all-time in three-point field goal percentage in program history.

Stonehill announced its jump to the DI level in April and will compete in the Northeast Conference.
