The men’s lacrosse team swept the ASUN weekly awards this week as Corson Kealey and Evan Hellmich were honored by the ASUN after their game at Stony Brook this past weekend.

Kealey, a graduate senior, took the title of ASUN Player of the Week. After his 100% shooting average and six goals on Saturday against Stony Brook, ASUN recognized his accomplishments.

Kealey has scored six points so far in the 2022 spring season. With 10 goals on 23 shots this season, he continues to be a threat to the opposition’s defense on the attack.

Senior Evan Hellmich won the title of Defensive Player of the Week from the ASUN. With two CTOs and two ground balls against Stony Brook, he now ranks second on the team with eight ground balls in the season thus far.

The Colonials have a bye week this weekend but will travel to Macon, Georgia to face Mercer on Mar. 5.
