Former defensive coordinator at Division III University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) Sean Dugan has joined Bernard Clark’s staff as the assistant linebackers coach.

While Dugan was the defensive coordinator of UWSP this past season, the team posted an overall record of 2-8.

However, despite the losing record, Dugan is a young coach who is only going into his fifth year of coaching and will now get to coach the position he knows best based on his experience.

According to UWSP’s website, Dugan was focused on the linebacker corps.

He was also a stand-out outside linebacker at Millersville University, logging 38 straight starts and earning first-team all-conference honors his senior year. He also led the Marauders in tackles both his junior and senior years.

With a young talented linebacker group with only two seniors, adding Dugan should provide another mentor to help develop the younger players at the position at Robert Morris.
