Head Coach Bernard Clark and assistant head coach Dave Plungas brought in another transfer. Former Stony Brook defensive back Gregory Young II decided to transfer to Robert Morris on Monday.

The Clinton, Maryland native spent three years as a member of the Seawolves.

Young redshirted his freshman season in 2018 and suited up for the first time the following season. In 2019, he had 31 total tackles, including a career-high six tackles in a game vs. Utah State. This season also included his only career interception against Villanova.

In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, the then-redshirt sophomore made 18 tackles and two pass breakups.

Young made another 30 tackles in 2021 with three pass breakups.

Looking at the numbers, Young is a very consistent player, always bringing the same stat line each game ever since his first collegiate snap.

Coach Clark brought in a talented and high-experienced player for a chance to get over the hump in the now-thin Big South Conference.
