Earlier this afternoon, former Robert Morris guard Cameron Wilbon announced that he will be transferring to Sacramento State.

Wilbon spent three seasons with the Colonials before entering his name into the transfer portal. In his freshman campaign, the Gary Indiana native appeared in 32 out of 35 contests, averaging three points per game, including a season-high 10 against Mount St. Mary’s on January 5, 2019.

Wilbon’s sophomore season ended early after he injured his wrist. After returning from injury in his junior season, Wilbon played in 19 games and appeared on the starting five just once in the 2020-21 season. He averaged 5.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, shooting 47.6-percent from the field. He had a career-high 15 at Detroit Mercy on February 19.

Last season, Sacramento State finished with an overall record of 8-12 and 5-9 in Big Sky play.
