Robert Morris football further bolstered its secondary core on Friday afternoon when former Lehigh defensive back Divine Buckrham announced his commitment to RMU via his Twitter He joins as a grad transfer in his final season of eligibility.

Buckrham spent his first four years of eligibility at Lehigh, where he was a key member of their defense. In 33 games, he stuffed the stat sheet, recording 67 solo tackles and 28 tackle assists. He also deflected three passes, all coming in the 2019 season.

Lehigh, like Robert Morris, played just three games during their spring season this year and Buckrham did not appear in any. They went 0-3.

Robert Morris will look to improve in their first full season in the Big South after last year’s stop-and-start campaign, and Buckrham is a big piece to start things off. They will begin the season on September 4 in Dayton.
