Men’s lacrosse points leader Ryan Smith has been named an honorable mention to the Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-America Team as he and his Colonials look to continue their good seasons.

Smith joins seven other attackmen on the Midseason All-America Team. Adam Charalambides from Rutgers, Matt Moore from Virginia, Jackson Morrill of Denver, Asher Nolting of High Point, Joe Robertson from Duke and Michael Robinson of the Delaware Blue Hens all received honorable mentions.

Smith has led the Colonials in most categories with 33 goals, 16 assists and 49 points, and there is no doubt that he is the best player for the Colonials. He is going to continue his great season and he will help RMU win more games.

Some of Smith’s best performances has been against Bellarmine, where he scored five goals and a single-game record 11 points, as well as when the Colonials took on #9 Virginia and he scored a hat trick.

RMU is 4-5 on their season as they host Cleveland State at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
