The whirlwind offseason for Robert Morris women’s basketball has another bullet point on the list as senior Holly Forbes will grad-transfer, per WBBBlog.

She becomes the second grad-transfer in the past week, joining Megan Callahan, and the seventh transfer overall from the program since the beginning of the season, joining Riley Arrigo (California University of Pennsylvania), Isabella Posset (St. Francis Brooklyn), Trinity Papamandjaris, Yasmine Sifaoui, and Dahomée Forgues.

Forbes, who hails from Bonne Terre, Missouri, started all 47 games she played at Robert Morris since joining from Mineral Area College as a junior college transfer ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Forbes averaged 5.3 points and 4.9 rebounds during her time at RMU, including averaging 6.3 points and 4.5 rebounds during the 2020-21 season. She recorded 234 rebounds during her time as a Colonial, including 157 during her junior season.

She scored a career-high 16 points against Purdue Fort Wayne on February 20, sealing back-to-back double-digit performances to close out the season.

Forbes will look to latch on in a new program next season and bring a physical presence in the frontcourt with an additional year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to the effects of COVID-19.

RMU finished the season 4-13 as they lost to Northern Kentucky in the opening round of the Horizon League tournament.
