Following a regular season that saw the Robert Morris men’s hockey team go 14-7 overall and 10-5-1 in Atlantic Hockey conference play en route to winning the Atlantic Hockey Western Division, six members of the Colonials roster earned Atlantic Hockey All Conference honors.

Nick Prkusic – AHA First Team

Prkusic, one of the co-captains for the Colonials, was also their leading scorer, netting 6 goals and 18 assists. Prkusic’s 19 points in Atlantic Hockey play led the conference and became the first Colonial since Brady Ferguson to lead the team in scoring in back-to-back seasons (Ferguson led the team in 2017 and 2018).

Nick Jenny – AHA First Team

Another co-captain for the Colonials, the senior from Strongsville, Ohio led Atlantic Hockey in scoring among defensemen with 18 points (5g, 13a). Jenny was named a two-time Atlantic Hockey Defenseman of the Week and finished as a plus-3.

Randy Hernández – AHA Second Team & All-Rookie Team

The leading scorer among Atlantic Hockey freshmen, Hernández made a name for himself in the regular season, scoring 22 points (10g, 12a). Hernández’s 10 goals are also fourth in Atlantic Hockey, as well as his 1.05 points/game being second among all NCAA freshmen; only behind Michigan’s Thomas Bordeleau (1.32), who was a second round draft pick by the San Jose Sharks in 2020.

Brendon Michaelian – AHA Second Team

The second Colonials defender to earn an all-AHA honor, Michaelian was a defensive rock for the Colonials. The junior blueliner led the Colonials with a plus-10 rating and added 13 points (4g, 9a) on the Colonials backend.

Brian Kramer – All-Rookie Team

Kramer, a freshman defender who came to the Colonials from the USHL’s Fargo Force, skated in 19 of 21 games this year, posting 11 assists, third in Atlantic Hockey freshman; only behind Mercyhurst’s Carson Briere (14), and fellow Colonial Randy Hernández (12).

Noah West – AHA Second Team & All-Rookie Team

West, a Pittsboro, Indiana native, ended his first regular season with an 8-5 record and posted a 2.82 GAA and a .913 SV%. West’s 2.82 GAA was ninth among all NCAA freshmen, while his save percentage placed him sixth. His .615 winning percentage was third among all rookie goaltenders, only behind Cameron Rowe of Wisconsin (.864) and Drew Commesso of Boston University (.812).
