VESTRAL, N.Y.– More confusion is coming out of the Robert Morris men’s basketball program (1-0) after Binghamton University announced the cancellation of their upcoming game against the Colonials early Thursday morning.

The game was scheduled to be played in Binghamton, New York on Saturday with RMU taking on the Bearcats (0-2), but will no longer happen due to COVID-19 problems within the Colonials’ program.

The announcement was an eye-opening one for many faithful followers of Robert Morris, as the team never announced that they were even going to be playing this game against Binghamton, and was also not listed on the team’s official schedule.

This would have been the first time the Colonials played the Bearcats in program history, but will now not be played due to the cancellation.

Earlier this week, RMU found themselves with another canceled matchup, this time in Morgantown against the No. 11 West Virginia Mountaineers previously scheduled for Wednesday, December 10.

The Colonials’ next scheduled opponents are the Cleveland State Vikings, which will open Horizon League play December 19-20 at the UPMC Events Center, barring any other non-conference matchups the program has yet to announce.
