MOON TOWNSHIP, PA– The Robert Morris women’s basketball team is set to start their 2020-21 season this Saturday in a non-conference contest against Norfolk State (1-2) at the UPMC Events Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Last Time Out:

RMU is going into their third game against the Spartans and has won both prior meetings. They last met in December of 2019 when the Colonials overcame a third-quarter deficit in Norfolk, putting up 14 points in overtime to snag a 69-62 victory. This game was the first time the teams had met since 2005 when the Colonials narrowly won 70-69.

Recapping RMU:

RMU is ready to open their first season in the Horizon League after winning three out of four regular-season Northeast Conference titles and finishing tied for first with St. Francis in 2017-18. They’re projected to finish fifth overall in the Horizon League this season in the league’s initial poll.
