Former North Allegheny standout goalkeeper Grant Glorioso announced on Twitter Saturday his intentions to transfer from GWU back home to the Pittsburgh area to play soccer for the Robert Morris Colonials next season.

Prior to coming to Gardner-Webb, Glorioso played varsity soccer for North Allegheny high school for three seasons. During those three seasons, he helped his team to two sectional runner-up finishes and a sectional championship during his junior season.

Glorioso was also a first-team All-WPIAL for two seasons and helped North Allegheny earn two WPIAL titles in 2016 and 2017.

During his time at Gardner-Webb, Glorioso started six games in net between Aug. 24 and Sept. 25. He totaled a 2.42 GA/Avg. allowing 15 goals and making 31 saves while also earning a shutout against Wofford on Aug. 31. He finished his career at GWU with a 0-4-1 record.

In a statement he put on Twitter, Glorioso said “As my collegiate soccer journey continues, I’ve decided to transfer to Robert Morris University. I want to thank my family, my friends, and my coaches for getting me where I am today.”
