Another departure from this Robert Morris University football team is offensive coordinator Mike Miller, who is no longer with the team as confirmed by a university official.

This news comes after the resignation of head coach John Banaszak and the departure of offensive line coach Andrew Richardson.

Miller was with the team just two seasons but in those two seasons produced the fourth-worst offense in the nation in 2016 and the fifth-worst offense in the nation in 2017.

The struggles came from all areas as the team produced the second-worst scoring offense in the nation, averaging just 10.2 points per game and 112 points in total.

Miller came to Robert Morris in high regard with his impressive NFL pedigree after time coaching with the Steelers, Bills and most notably the Arizona Cardinals, where he was part of the 2008 team which went to the Super Bowl.

But ultimately, Miller was unable to replicate his NFL successes with Robert Morris.

This offseason has seen Robert Morris part ways with two of their five offensive coaches with only runningback coach Larod Stephens-Howling, tight ends coach Kevin Sonnie and wide receivers coach Nick McVay left on the offensive staff.

Robert Morris is still in the midst of their national search for the team’s third head coach in the history of the program.
