Men’s soccer falls to FDU

The men’s soccer team fell 1-0 to the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.

Thirty-six minutes left in the first period and no score. Fairleigh had a penalty kick but the Robert Morris goalie blocked.

The Knights had another chance to score with outside the box and they score this time, making the score 1-0 Knights with thirty-three minutes left.

The Knights took two shots at scoring within two minutes of each other and were unsuccessful with both tries. Twenty-six minutes left FDU throws the ball in. The Knights tried to sho0t to score but it was blocked again by RMU goalkeeper Winter Fondi.

At halftime, the score is still 1-0 Knights.

Thirteen minutes left and the Colonials try to make something happen, Keane Mclvor shots, the goalie for the Knights catches it. The Knights had a penalty kick and the Robert Morris goalie stops it. The Knights take another shot and it is it just wide of the goal post. Jake Cooper take a shot and it is also wide of the goal post.

The final score of this game is 1-0 Knights. The Colonials will go on the road next week to play Saint Francis.
