RMU 2 (17-7-4, AHC 14-4-4), Sacred Heart (10-16-4, AHC 8-13-3): The Colonials wrapped up their two game weekend series in Milford, Connecticut against the Pioneers of Sacred Heart Saturday evening as they were able to pick up the narrow win and sweep the Pioneers. Senior Zac Lynch opened RMU’s scoring with a first period goal with a little under seven minutest play in the opening period. Sacred Heart was able to tie the game in the second period at one each but senior Greg Gibson found the back of the net later in the middle period to score what turned out to be the game winning goal as neither team was able to score in the third period. Robert Morris saw another great game from senior goalie Terry Shafer as he only gave up the second period goal and denied 25 of 26 shots that came his way towards the net.
