The Colonials began a third period comeback against their opponent Friday evening but fell one goal short.

Quinnipiac 3 (18-1-4, ECAC 10-1-3), RMU 2 (12-7-4, 4-3-3): The Colonials traveled to Hamden, Connecticut Friday to begin a two game weekend series with Quinnipaic. However, Robert Morris was able to gain a 3-0 lead before RMU could get on the scoreboard. Robert Morris’s two goals of the game came from sophomore Natalie Fraser and junior Rikki Meilleur in the final period of regulation as the Colonials attempted a late game comeback. Junior goalie Jessica Dodds received the loss for the Colonials giving up three goals on 33 total shots faced.
